Our week started off quite busy, with T.J.'s board of review for his Eagle Scout award. He was quite nervous but handled the pressure well and achieved his goal. Congrat's T.J.
The girls headed for Malibu, CA for a gymnastics meet and while driving to the hotel we saw the exit for the Ronald Reagan Library and I just had to see it. It was great.
This was how the oval office looked when he was President, right down to the pictures on the walls, photographs, even the chair behind the desk was the one he used.

The greatest thing was seeing Air Force One inside this building and then getting to tour the plane.
We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the plane, they wanted you to buy the dvd for 14.95. This was a great exhibit to see and the girls loved it.
We were then off to the meet at California Lutheran University. It wasn't Avery's best meet but she continues to improve and it is still so enjoyable to watch her compete.
Then we spent Sunday, at T.J.'s tennis tournament. Yes, tennis courts right next to the pool at the Hilton. The music going and Cabana's filled with Spring Breakers. Oh, yeah T.J. was playing tennis.
He had already won 2 matches on Saturday, and was playing 2 on Sunday. The joke was that when he would get in a jam he would look up and this gentleman would guide him.....
I am talking about no other than Barry Manilow, overlooking the courts and speaking as if he was OB1 Kanobe (spelling)? Although in the final match Barry wasn't much help and T.J. placed 2nd.
We had a fun day and enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful weather. We were a little over dressed for our surroundings but we had a great time.

"Looks like You Made It" through the weekend. Avery and TJ will be "ready to take a chance again" on their next tournaments! Remember that they "can't smile without you" there. Seriously...congrats to Avery and TJ.
What an awesome weekend. I am so jealous of seeing Air Force One. We are off to California this next weekend for WGI World Championships. Miki's team, Varsity, should make finals for the first time in our Winter Guard history.
What a weekend, but then you are still young, and we are so proud of Avery and T.J. I hope we get to come down and watch the kids do there thing really soon. T. J. making Eagle scout is soooo great!! You will realize that in a few years down the road.
