11 years ago today........

Our Trevor was born on a rainy night in Texas and what was even better, he was born so quickly, 45 minutes of labor. He is turning 11 today and my how time flies. He definitely brings a vivacious element to our family.
As I was thinking about Trevor I came up with 11 things about our Trev boy.

1. For the first 5 years of his life he ran everywhere, everytime he fell on the ground his head hit first and he has a permanent bump on his forehead today. He fell alot.

2. He is the only kid in kindergarten who named his teacher's coffee, BAD A** Coffee and then taught the class a song about it. Bring back any memories of Park City, Papa?

3. He learned to ride his bike at 2 1/2 years of age, because we were afraid he would try it on his own and hurt himself.

4. When trying to decide where to put our pool at the house, we couldn't put it directly in the backyard because the upstairs deck would overlook the pool and we were afraid Trevor would dive in from the deck. That is why the pool is on the side of the house. Now we have to worry about the roof.

5. When shopping with Trevor anywhere near our house, everyone knows him. It's always "Hey, Trevor," "Hi, Trevor." I swear he knows everybody.

6. He can hold is breath forever. You think he is drowning in the pool because he can stay under water forever. He is awesome at getting all the toys out of deep end of the pool.

7. He loves hunting creepy crawlers at night, black widows, worms, spiders....YUCK!!!!

8. He and T.J.'s favorite show is Man Vs. Wild on the discovery channel, this really scares me. The guy on this show is crazy.

9. He has eyes like that cat on Shrek, he looks at you with those baby blues and then he waters them up and they get even bigger and his parents and teachers are goners. He gets whatever he wants.

10. His socks have to be lined up perfectly on his feet, the line across the toes has to be perfect, etc.

11. He is always happy, he answers his cell phone (unlike others in our family), he always tries his best, he has a zest for life that is contagious, he is kind to others, and I can't believe you are 11 years old.
