Catch-Up Time

This is what you do when school is canceled in Las Vegas due to snow. You play outside all-day and build snowmen and drive your mother crazy because she had her day all planned of what had to get done for Christmas. Thanks Clark County School District.
Avery rolling as much snow as possible, Trevor is on the deck sweeping the snow down so they could make their snowman.
Devyn had her dance recital and she did great and yes, we remembered the flowers. That mistake will never happen again.
Our last year with a real Christmas Tree, this one killed Brett and I. We are to old, although this one was about 15 ft. tall and weighed a ton. We purchased a 14 ft. tree with lights already on it during the after Christmas sales. The thought of not having to string lights on a Christmas tree makes me giddy.
My parents were here for the holidays, it was a fun and enjoyable time watching the kids tear into their gifts.
Grandpa made T.J. and Trevor shelves for their rooms.
Mom made this warm blanket that Brett and Keith confiscated for themselves.
Trevor got his long awaited cell phone. If you want to get a hold of anyone in our family, call Trevor he is the only one who answers his phone.
Dev was pleased with all of her Barbie junk and DS lite.
Due to the massive snow storm that swept over Las Vegas, Avery's orchestra concert was canceled and yes, put on the same night as the BCS national championship game, thanks again Clark County School District.
Avery's first meet was in Las Vegas and her team took 4th.
Trevor playing basketball with his long straight locks flying through the air.
Avery got glasses, due to her not being able to read her scores at her first meet.
Trevor received his arrow of light scout award, he is ready for BIG Scouts! Yeah I'm done, now they are Brett's responsibility once they hit this point. That's all the news for now.

Yay Lisa!!! Not that we didn't like the Santa pictures, but it's always fun to see new pics. I like Avery's new glasses - very stylish.

It was nice catching up, but you could have left that terrible pic of me out, my excuse was being sick, but actually I look like that every morning. I love Averys' glasses. Maybe she is like me, I got glasses in 6th grade and thats was when I found out the trees had leaves on them!! My mom was horrified.

Okay, I forgive you for not posting. . . you've been busy girl! Great post! Is it wrong to say I like Trevor's long hair? And I love Avery's glasses! I'd wear mine more often if I could look that good!
