Brett & I did a "Hike Maui Tour" this morning. We left Kaanapali where our hotel is and headed to Lanai, where the road to Hana begins. We met our group and started our hike.
It was pouring rain when we started our hike, our guide was well prepared with rain gear and these mukluk shoes that were incredible to keep up with the different elements of weather.
Brett, just had to do some cliff diving after reaching one of the waterfalls. The falls were so full of water due to the recent rains they had experienced a couple of weeks ago. This hike was great we learned many different things about Maui's vegetation and hiked to 4 beautiful waterfalls.
While Brett & T.J. went scuba diving the kids competed in Slide Races at the hotel. Trevor just knew he had won, but a 16 year old who triples his weight beat him. (Go Figure) He will still keep trying everyday, please save us. At dinner we asked the kids their favorite things so far about Hawaii the answers are as follows:Trevor: Slide Races & Snorkeling
Devyn: The phone in the hotel room (there are two lines and she can call mom and dad's room every minute).
Avery: Lei making with all the kids at the hotel.
T.J.: Scuba Diving (Even if he did throw up after the first dive).

Looks like lots of fun! Keep at it Trev Boy - we know you can win. You should make this a new family tradition... you know, making all of us jealous! I kid ... we're all living vicariously through you guys right now. Keep having fun, because we're having fun seeing all the pics!
