Trevor is "10"

I can't believe that it has been 10 years since our little trev boy came into our lives. Time flies. We truly love the energy, diligence, humor and his sense for adventure he brings to our family. There is never a dull moment with Trev around.

High school baseball has begun. We are now considered SUNdevil fans. The J.V. team has had a rough start but hopefully they can turn it around.

T.J. plays third base and is working really hard on getting better. Go devils!

Meeting Zane

We all traveled to St. George where the kids got to meet their new cousin, Zane. I don't think his feet touched the ground, everyone wanted a turn holding him. It was so special meeting him but even more special to share in watching Zane being sealed to his family. Mattie and Jaedon are great siblings and Zane is very lucky and blessed.

The St. George temple was beautiful and the kids loved climbing the steps to have their picture taken. It was a great day.

What We Will Do for Baseball!

As you can see TJ's long curly locks in Hawaii blowing in the wind and surf. He is so proud of his curls and how it looks with a hat. TJ's girls dig his long lightly curled hair. But then came Coach Medellion, baseball coach of Eldorado High School, came along and no more long, flowing hair. Tryouts for the team are Friday and so under much duress and loss of sleep T.J. made the decision to cut his hair short and tight, (see below).

Notice how pleased and happy our young lad is about his new do. If you ask him if it is worth it? He reply's yes with tears in his eyes of those days when his little possee could twirl his hair around their fingers and now their afraid to get gel on their fingers.

Happy Valentines Day

I received this heart waffle iron for valentines day many year ago from my mom. Growing up Valentines day was always a big deal. Well, we pull it out every Valentines day and when the kids hear the little bird tweet they know that a tasty heart shaped gift is being delivered.

Fiesta at Rawhide

We all traveled to Phoenix for Avery's meet this weekend, minus T.J. We had dinner at one of our favorite places called Houston's at the Biltmore Fashion plaza.

I give anyone a guess what Trevor had for dinner?

Yes, RIBS..... all over himself, but boy did he enjoy them. Not one ounce of meat was left on any of these bones.

We headed to Rawhide for the Fiesta Bowl Championships. This place used to be in Scottsdale but now they have moved it toward Tucson. It now is on Indian land, so there was a big casino.

You can't go to Rawhide and not be held up by a gunman. The kids were released quite quickly when the gunman realized how much energy Trevor has and he's a pretty good shot with a gun.

We had a few more girls at this meet.

4th on bars. She didn't place on beam. She didn't fall on the turn this time just everything else.

Surfin in Orange County

We attended the Surf City Classic in Orange County this past weekend. The sickness has run crazy in the gym so there were only 4 girls competing from avery's gym when we usually have 8.

This was avery's vault, notice her bent arms, but her legs were straight and toes pointed.

Floor exercise was great, she took out her full and changed the ending again and placed 6th. Her bars she scored an 8.9 to place 2nd.

The beam is her nemesis, she can tackle all of the back hand spring, back walkover but the stinkin turn (which is a requirement) we fall. But with a fall she scored 8.3 which is amazing.

She placed 5th overall and had a pretty good meet. Their team placed 2nd overall.
